Group Rate for Hotel

We've booked 14 rooms at a hotel for the night of the wedding for everyone who is coming from afar, or just doesn't feel like going home. The group rate is 1 King Bed: $89.00, 2 Queen Beds: $119.00. The Cut-off date for the group rate is September 24, 2010.
You can either call 1-800-321-2211 and reference the Yarnold/Kershner Wedding room block, or you can book online:

Hey everybody, not much moving on the wedding front, but I went through and cleaned up all the spelling and added some reference pictures to the Main Event page. Other than that, I hope everyone is keeping warm and getting ready for Christmas or your preferred winter celebration. Happy Holidays!

Cabo, here we come!

We're heading to Mexico for our honeymoon! Cabo Azul, to be exact. It's located in San Jose del Cabo, at the tip of the Baja California peninsula.
We're going to be doing such things as sleeping, then swimming with Dolphins, more sleeping and eating. Lots of sleeping.
I, Ryan, will be coming home with a tan...(not likely).

The Venue is Booked

We've booked a venue for the wedding! How exciting! We had been to five places before we found the right one. Every time we entered a place, either one of us would love or hate it...or it smelled like dirty mop.
Once we stepped into The Villa in East Bridgewater, we absolutely knew it was the place. It's gorgeous. We'll be posting pictures soon, but for now take a look at their website.
Oh yes, the date is October 15th, 2010. So you'll have plenty of time to get ready.

We're Engaged!

We're engaged! This entry is being written well after the fact, since that night we were celebrating.
Let's get to the story...
It was a beautiful April night in Boston. We went out for sushi at Osushi in Copley Place. Check out the menu, they have some very funny selections, in a Full Metal Jacket sort of way. After dinner we took a walk around the Public Gardens where we found a nice quiet spot under a tree, looking out at the swan boats. By coincidence, there was a female and male duck, just hanging out there too. It seemed to be a perfect place and time. That's where I popped the question. The rest is history.
